Many years ago, I took a psychology class. There was a section of the class on stress management and they taught us a really fun technique for transforming stress.
It was called “5 Minute Vacation”.
It’s very simply, a visualization technique where you set aside 5 minutes, close your eyes, and mentally take a vacation in any place of your choice.
It might sound silly, but it works!
We could all use a bit of stress management sometimes…
And when we make positive visualization and other mindfulness techniques into a habit, we can actually even prevent stress from getting the better of us in the first place!
So, allow me to offer some inspiration for your next 5 minute vacation! 😊
Introducing part 2 of my Spain series – the beautiful Mediterranean city of Málaga.
This city truly has everything – beautiful beaches, amazing food, friendly people, tons of things to do & see…
I love that it’s a city, however it’s a fairly small city. They do have their own airport however, which is super important to me!
Perhaps one day, I’ll find myself living there…
But in the meantime, come take a virtual tour of Málaga with me –
We were only there for two days but that was enough for us to fall in love with it! ❤️
I hope you enjoy this mini vacation as much as we did!
PS – Another great remedy for stress is adaptogens! If you’ve been hanging out with me for a while, you know that I’m a big fan of MUD\WTR (an amazing coffee alternative full of adaptogenic mushrooms for vitality). Use my link here to get up to 50% off your first order ❤️
